CENTRALIZED HOT WATER

A fresh hot water shower is a refreshing start for the day.

You will notice that our washrooms do not have geysers. Instead, we have a centralized hot water supply system through a 3000 ltr capacity hot water tank controlled by a 15 KW  heat pump, which maintains the water at 57 deg C, that ensures hot water to each washroom so that you needn't worry about switching-on and switching-off geysers. Moreover this system is very energy efficient, operation friendly and maintenance friendly.

While hot water is technically available 24/7 in the centralized storage tank, the water stored in the pipeline between the hot water tank and your washroom tap tends to get colder over a period of time.

Hence, it is recommended that residents use hot water at the below mentioned times.

HOT WATER TIMINGS

7:00 am - 10:00 am

7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

During the above time zone, someone or the other is using hot water and hence there is no stagnation of hot water in the pipeline. As a consequence, hot water is readily available from your taps in this time zone. Outside this time zone, due to non-usage of hot water, the stagnant water in the intermediate pipeline tends to get colder and hence one would have to waste couple of buckets of water before hot water starts coming out from the taps. Hence, the above time zone recommendation.
